An incredible 5 star stay!

This hotel was an incredible 5 star experience. From the lovely staff to the food to the beautiful hotel room itself - my partner and I had an unforgettable experience here. The hotel staff upgraded us to a suite free of charge and helped my now fiancee organize the most GORGEOUS proposal on their amazing rooftop. Everyone really made sure we had a memorable time here and we felt very well taken care of. The restaurant in this hotel has the most attentive service and delicious Sicilian food. The location is in a quiet area of town, but very close to everything you'd like to see. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Taormina!

Beautifully authentic building right in the city center, yet away from the bustling crowds. The breakfast was exceptional and so was the restaurant in general. The staff are all very kind.

Wonderful

Staff was very friendly and helpful, they waited for us to be picked up from the last point before the pedestrian area, and showed us the hotel's amenities, without being aggressive about it - very much appreciated for the discrete but helpful style.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but the fact that we only stayed for one night meant we did not get to do much, and it seemed that the one pedestrian street filled with stores and restaurants was the only thing we were able to do - but this must be on us because we did not allocate much time to it- was only a discovery visit per se.

The rooms are not only spacious but thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of comfort and style, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The staff here goes above and beyond—extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is exceptional, featuring a diverse selection of fresh and high-quality options that cater to all tastes, a perfect start to your day.

To reach the hotel from the main street, guests should be aware that there are a few stairs leading up to the street where the hotel is located. This means that while the hotel is conveniently close to the main thoroughfare, some moderate physical effort is required to climb these stairs.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location.

The property is absolutely beautiful. It is located on the main road through the village but on the up side / slope so not right on the road. That also means it’s quiet and has beautiful views of the church and the sea beyond. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast / dining room is also beautiful.

There isn’t anything to not like. If you’re on the 4th floor you will hear the music from the bar directly above but it does not go late. Also, ask them to put tape over the red flashing lights of their smoke detectors. They’re very bright!

**Amazing Stay in a Great Location with Exceptional Staff** We recently stayed at Palazzo Vecchio, and our experience was outstanding! The location is perfect, within easy reach of major attractions and local gems, making it an ideal spot for exploring Taormina. What truly made our stay memorable, though, was the incredible staff. Antonio, Salvatore, and Claudio went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality, helpful suggestions, and attention to detail made a world of difference. We highly recommend Palazzo Vecchio and look forward to returning on our next trip!

This was one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. Every aspect of it was superb.

The only thing that I did not like was having to walk up and down the steps to the hotel every day, but that cannot be helped. I am elderly so it was somewhat of a problem, but it would not affect most guests.

Everything was incredible, but the restaurant experience was perhaps the most amazing. No big expectations never for hotels restaurants, but in this case the food was incredible and the service was just a bit of Italian magic.

Wonderful boutique hotel with exceptional service!

The Palazzo Vecchio was the quintessential boutique hotel experience. Our room was lovely, the location perfectly situated in the middle of the old town, the staff overwhelming friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks delicious. We stayed in all wonderful hotels in Sicily, but the experience at Palazzo Vecchio was exceptional. I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff was from the bellman who lugged our bags from Porta Catania to the waitstaff in the bar and restaurant who made us feel like old friends. I think I would describe it as luxury without the attitude. I don’t know if we’ll make it back to Taormina, but I would stay at this hotel again and again.

Unfortunately the Sky Bar had closed for the season, but the bartender gave us a tour in the morning and it is wonderful. The views were fantastic. Made sense being closed in middle November when it’s dark and much cooler in the evenings.

Enjoyable stay at a well positioned hotel with excellent staff.

Well positioned, very clean and quiet. Very courteous and friendly staff.

Breakfast involved a lot of good quality options in a very pleasant dining room. Not always as organised as one might hope, albeit friendly and courteous. Plumbing all a bit complicated and needed maintenance.

Exceptional Taormina Hotel Palazzo Vecchio

This Boutique Hotel was well located on the Main Walking Street, but set-back up a flight of stairs, so quite discreet. The Service, Housekeeping, Breakfast and general facilities for a small hotel of only #12 Guestrooms was quite exceptional, and the Guest Relations / Concierge Antonio was extremely helpful with suggesting great Restaurants, and organising a trip up the ubiquitous Mt. Etna, which is a must for anyone visiting Taormina, and this part of Sicily. I would highly recommend the Palazzo Vecchio Hotel Taormina, for anyone wishing to stay at a more discreet and personal Hotel, rather than a large Grand Hotel, with all the facilities of 2 or 3 Restaurants etc. The Hotel has a relationship with a very pleasant Beach Club down on the Beach, who will collect you from the Town Square and return whenever you wish ️ the Food at La Caravella was really excellent We hired a car from Catania, which was a waste of time, as it remained parked at Euro 30 per day for our entire stay, until our departure.....if you only intend to visit Catania. We had an amazing time in Taormina for the 5 days we stayed, and were really sorry to leave this incredibly beautiful and unique lication, with excellent Restaurants for every taste from Street Food to Haute Cuisine at the Grand Timeo Belmond Hotel, which has a Michelin Star Restaurant and great food at their Terrace Restaurant as well.

There was nothing we could complain anout at Palazzo Vecchio Taormina and would definitely stay there again if we returned to Taormina

Overall very nice and would spend time here again.

Nice location very central, nice staff, very clean and spacious. Would come again.

There was no shower curtain, so had to sit in the bathtub. For us ok but elderly people might have a problem with the exercise. Price is quite high but everything is a bit overpriced in Taormina.
